We saw this chap yesterday on yet another grey morning and were attracted by the contrast between his plumage and the buds. Another harbinger of Spring - please!

Nice to see a healthy looking Chaffinch also
It seems that just lately, every Chaffinch i photograph has the growth / fungi problem on the legs |

I had chaffinch in my garden towards the end of last year, but no sign as yet, hope they do return as I love watching this birds  |

nice to see the pussy willows...reminds me of school nature days out in the infants along time ago   
We get a male chaffinch in the garden every day
