How many different species.....
How many different species of bird can you see from your window ? And what's the most unusual ?

(In the past 12 months I've counted 35, including a sparrow hawk, kingfisher and little egret.)

Hi Andy and welcome to WAB. I've never counted the number of species but there a good few as I live next to a river and woodland so get a wide selection of birds and mammals.

I think my list stands at 71 in a little over 11 years. Possibly the best sighting was a young Cuckoo being fed by a Dunnock on my neighbour's fence, or a Kingfisher flying off with the same neighbour's goldfish.
