| | | BullFinches At last... I have finally seen a bulfinch in the wild... In fact it was a pair of bullfinches. An added plus was that despite the poor light in the wooded area I was in I managed to get a couple of acceptable photos of them both.
I don't remember how long I have waited to see these birds so needless to say I am really pleased and to get photos as well really put the icing on the cake.. |

| | | Re: BullFinches Bullfinches seem to be doing pretty well in my area this year. I have seen several groups of up to six birds at a time on a couple of my local patches.
Getting a decent photograph of one is something that I haven't managed to do so far though. |

| | | Re: BullFinches well done, they are my favourite bird and a joy to behold aren't they? We have a lot of them here at the park hall country park in stoke on trent (for any body who wishes to get a good view of them, also able to see them at carsington water.
