| | | Some more bird ids needed :) Hi,
It would be great if you could id some of these birds for us
Sorry about the quality of the images
I think this is a bunting of some sort
These 2 birds were black and seemed to have a white belly, i think you can just see it in the picture
Weird type of gull, could just be weird plumage but it was very big
This was another large gull, i dont think it was a common gull
Another bunting sort of bird
last one
Thanks, i think i still got a few more pictures of wading birds but these will do for now
thanks |

Number 2 shows a male & female blackbird. In the right habitat/UK location they could be Ring-ouzels, but I don't think so.
I think your gulls are all Herrings?
The last bird I believe is a Dunnock, Prunela modularis. |

| | | Re: Some more bird ids needed :) lovely photos connor
1. reed bunting
2. no idea
3-4. juvenile gull, probably herring
5-6. herring gull
7. another reed bunting (lovely birds eh? )
8. another dunnock
just a note: 'common gulls' are not actually the most common gull you will see, most of the time you are seeing black headed gulls (even though only the males (oh dang... why do i even open my mouth *response to astra*) get the black head (and only in spring ))
ring ouzel seems very unlikely, maybe just leucistic blackbirds

We have equal rights for BH Gulls in this part of the world |
