We started to drive out of the car park, when this little chap flew down and sat on the fence at the exit

| | | Re: Skylark Beautiful shots.
We saw around ten yesterday. I have some just acceptable shots of one in flight singing that I will add to a separate post later.
What with yesterday hearing and seeing skylarks, along with snapping a peacock butterfly, made it seem as though Spring might be on the way - despite the continuing gray skies.

| | | Re: Skylark Wow Gaza - fabulous shots, well caught.
I only ever see them when I'm out riding and they are usually an ever-rising, singing black dot in the sky.
The detail you have captured is beautiful. |

| | | Re: Skylark Excellent photos. Like Astra, all I normally see is a black dot in the sky! However, I have heard them on two walks this week, but failed to see them. |
