| | | Re: Starlings at Leighton Moss Thanks for the comments guys - it is certainly one of my favourite wildlife spectacles, an elegant arial ballet. I think the best bit is when they finally all pour themselves down into the reed-bed and just simply disappear. Unfortunately I can't ever see a way of catching that bit in a photo, it happens so quickly and always seems to be against a dark background, as it's getting dark so you'd lose the birds on a photo. Still it was a great way to end the day.
