| | | Bird ID please. Hi guys, while i was going to the car my wife spotted this bird gliding over head, so i grabbed my camera and snapped away, he was several hundred ft away i would guess, we think it is a Buzzard but not really sure.

| | | Re: Bird ID please. Thanks guys, thought it might be a Buzzard, we see them in pairs normally soring on the the air currents but they are so high its hard to get a better pic even with the zoom lens i have.

Mark. | Classic ID with the bird holding its wings in a v-shape - definitely common buzzard. |

Yes, i was surprised myself, but i guess what with the winter sun being low and the Buzzard tilted over in a turn the light was able to illuminate the underside of the wing.
