Little egrets in North Wales

I have seen two little egrets in two days,one in Bangor and one in Towyn in North Wales, I have never seen one before then get two in two days, how about that.

Well done! A super looking bird is the Little Egret!

we saw one today at the rspb place in conwy, along with a pair of gadwalls and a pair of tufted ducks - not seen either of those before.

That's great, I have only ever seen one a few years ago, when I was walking along the Menai Bridge, so not that far way from where you saw them.

Well done with your Egret sightings,there are usually a few to be found in the Menai Straits......quite a sight when you spot your first aren't they?

Lovely birds. I am also delighted to tell you that the birds are now breeding in the Penrhyn Estate just outside Bangor (thanks go to Andy at the BTO for the confirmation).

The Spinnies reserve is a good place to see the Little Egrets.
