| | | Amazing success with niger feeders continues I was asking only the other day if anyone had yellowhammers in their gardens as I hadn't seen any since childhood. Well I've just been looking at my niger feeders and realised that those birds on it weren't the goldfinches I've recently attracted to the feeding station. There are 4 yellowhammers on them! 30 years since I last saw one!
I'm stunned and amazed at just how succesful my feeding station continues to be. I did write a list recently and I think I now have 36 different visitors to my garden! I'm not sure I have much left to attract.... |

| | | Re: Amazing success with niger feeders continues Well done! They are lovely birds to see in your garden.
The heavy snow recently caused up to six Yellowhammers to visit our garden in search of food. I'm glad to say that one of them at least is still visiting most days.
My garden bird list is now 42, including five seen from the garden. The count is 28 for the year so far. | | | | Thread Tools | | | | Display Modes | Linear Mode |
