| | | help finding thread Hello!
Does anyone remember the thread with two unknown ducks that were very beautiful and the concensus was that they were two mallard muscovy crosses?
I can't find it amd don't know which 'unknown bird' thread it is likely to be....
Only I think I may have a definative answer... I saw this spur-winged goose Plectropterus gambensis nigra at Slimbridge on Sunday and its looks very similar... |

EDIT: If it's a thread you started yourself try this one: duck id

| | | Re: help finding thread Hi Gill, did the other duck have a red bill like yours, the only other thing you can try, is look for the picture in the unidentified or forum images in the image library and see if you can trace it back to the thread. Good Luck |

| | | Re: help finding thread Thank you natureguy that's exactly what I have resorted to doing and having found the picture - after all that actually I think its a different bird!!!! (though there may be some spur-winged goose in there somewhere!!
See what you think?
Thanks all the same everyone
Goes to show how much WAB gets under your skin doesn't it that I can be walking around slimbridge months after a 'what duck ' thread and stop in my tracks and think to myself - 'That's that duck we were uncertain of' !!!!!
There's no hope for me!!!! ha ha
