Podiceps Cristatus i think, from memory, or maybe i should look it up

Frank | That's a good photo Frank! I hope you don't mind me post one I took last week, I know very little of water birds but know this is s G.C.Grebe but the colours on the neck are different to yours, could they be male and female and if so which is which?  |

Im no expert but i think yours is in winter plumage as both sexes are similar in looks

Some GC Grebes are getting into breeding plumage now but some are still in their winter coats like Phoebe's. | | |
