What a fantasticly detailed report of your birthday birding, really enjoyed reading that. Sorry you didn't get to see the geese, seems the birds are already on the move.

Never been to Norfolk, living way over in Wales, but someday I hope to visit the area - it sounds superb for birding!

You must try and get over that way Dae. It is an incredible place and can turn up anything throughout the year.

I took Dai the Dragon (he lives in Llanelli) over there exactly two years ago and it was like taking a young child to a sweet factory. He couldn't believe what we saw whilst over there.

Norfolk should be every ones list of places to visit. A place for all seasons as there is always something to see.
