First Garden Ticks in recent months?

A new one for me is a goldcrest but only used my garden for passage.

I've managed my first goldcrest and a wren this year. must admit I haven't seen the goldcrest again since last week though.............. hope it comes back.

Jason all I can say is you must have a large garden to get a flock of BHGs - of course they may be counted.

Dae, and everyone else who's mentioned Goldcrest, it seems there's more around this year or perhaps we're getting better at noticing them! I'm sure wintering Blackcaps are increasing too.

I'm still waiting for LTTits and Treecreeper. My garden is an urban patio near the sea, so probably not that likely .... we do get the odd summer warbler passing through though but no raptors or woodland birds like Siskin and Nuthatch etc
