| | | Thrush help please can anyone help me with identifying this bird, taken at distance i'm afraid at a reservoir setting in Derbyshire. Possibly a Meadow or Song thrush but need clarification!!!   |

I have the same question - so I hope you don't mind me adding to this thread.
The white under-tail and corners may indicate Mistle Thrush but the arrow-head dots on chest and the coloured cheeks Song Thrush. The upright stance is said to be Mistle Thrush?
I would appreciate any guidance, thanks.

| | | Re: Thrush help please It tellls you in most of the books the easist way is that the Song Thrush spots are shaped like inverted arrow headsand more prominant whilst the mistle thrush is more blotchy hope this helps you out
