| | An Ace Birding Wednesday I was invited to go around the Fylde today and we got loads of species!
Short eared owl was one of them
In this same area we also had grey partridge and little owl.
We then were confronted by an unruly mob of pink footed geese!
The aim was to pick out rarer geese among about 20 thousand pink feet in the Fylde. We found one brent goose!
We then went to Glasson Dock and got curlew:
And also spotted redshank, grey plover, golden plover, bar and black tailed godwits, green sandpiper, greenshank and many more including a kestrel that was a real poser! |
