| | | geese For anyone interested even though its only the beginning of October there are massive numbers of geese already on the Lancashire coast for the winter, Pinkfeet, Greylag, but most of all Canada's, a friend of mine who is a member of the Wildfowlers said that last weekend he estimated that there was at least 15,000 Canada's up round Martin Mere. |

| | | Thanks for the tip Lancashireloon. Not too far from me so I might pop there sometime over the next few weeks. I was over at Morecombe a couple of years ago and saw thousands of Geese land in a nearby field, which was an incredible sight, so 15,000 would be well worth seeing.
Cheers

| | | We've had hundreds of Canada geese flying into a field where I walk for the past month, they only come over in the evening then fly off the following morning,I haven't been able to find out where they spend their days though. I think the last ones flew off south a couple of nights ago. | | | | Thread Tools | | | | Display Modes | Linear Mode |
