hi I am new to this forum.
I was sat watching tv Saturday and noticed 2 strange birds in my apple tree, starling sized with a punky hair do ran for binocs and pretty sure they are waxwings. ran for hubby and have managed to get a couple of pics so will try to put on site later not good at techy stuff  |

There have been Waxwings in and around Lincoln since late November.

Hi Galaxysue, I'm also fairly new to the forum's and must say I'm really impressed with the speed that some do answer your questions, it's really nice to be able to post something and the answer come back so quick. I also spotted my first Waxwing towards the back end of January and was absolutely thrilled, congratulations. |

The lazy little so and so's haven't made it uphill yet!
I really wanted to see if I could spot the birds at the station, so much so that I was trying to convince a friend of mine that he should leave Northern Scotland earlier in the morning so it would still be light when we picked him up from the station.
I have still not seen a waxwing.  |
