| | | Uknown small bird in Devon Hi everyone.
Here are 6 photos of some small unidentified birds on Bowling Green Marsh near Topsham, Devon. The shots were taken today (15/02/09). There were around 6-8 of them about 50m away. They are quite small. Sorry that the shots are not that good.
Can anyone please tell me what they are?
Kind regards

| | | Re: Uknown small bird in Devon Difficult but fairly sure it's a Rock Pipit. Not green enough for Meadow Pipit. Water Pipit has unstreaked chest. However white flights in tail and streaked chest could indicate Meadow, depends what the light was like.
Have googled it and think it's a difficult one.

I go with Meadow Pipit - habitat and pale legs.
