| | | First Goldcrest!!!!!!!!!!! Woooooooooooo Hooooooooooo!!
Whilst watching the rugby I needed a fresh beverage so went to the fridge and had a quick peek out of the window and noticed a tiny little dumpy bird nibbling on the fat balls, wasn't sure what he was at first but then noticed his yellow stripe and realised that he is a Goldcrest!!! The first one I have ever seen, not just in the garden but ever!!
Well chuffed, hope he comes back!! |

I get excited when we very rarely get a visit from a Greenfinch let alone seeing a Goldcrest in me garden!
Might have to get me Kodak Easyshare camera at the ready in case he comes back........Lol |

| | | Re: First Goldcrest!!!!!!!!!!! Not cute exactly, but ..... well I'm going no further on the subject, this would definitely hijacking.
The Goldcrests have been pairing up for a few weeks now in this area. I'm really hoping they nest in our garden again - fingers crossed!
