| | | Steeplejacks Took my camera to the library today hoping to snap fieldfares still on the village green after the berries - no luck. Decided to have a look in the churchyard and cemetery but things were very quiet (no pun intended).
I ended up snapping these jackdaws flying around the steeple - ole blue eyes is back.

By the way, did you read/hear about the Peregrine roosting on the spire of the church on the Hills Rd/Lensfield Rd crossroads in Cambridge a few weeks ago?
I didn't get to see it myself (due to being laid up with flu/pneumonia at the time) and I don't know if it's been sighted more recently.

Yes, I did hear about the peregrine and had a quick look but without success.

| | | Re: Steeplejacks I was walking around my local garden centre yesterday and came across a little section with a small birdfeeder full of peanuts. I wasn't expecting to see 5 jackdaws hanging on for dear life as they helped themselves to the bounty inside. Quite a sight. |
