| | | Re: Red Kites You won't be able to miss them Soupdragon. They are in a class of their own. Their forked tail is the big give-away. There are a few buzzards around, but they look very different.

I see loads of them while driving on the A329 in and out of Reading but this is the first time I've actually saw one slap bang in the middle of a very busy and built-up part of town. |

I know they fly over villages and smaller towns (such as Princes Risborough), and I know they are seen regularly near to Reading. Not sure if other people have reported seeing them over Reading itself though. There are a few WAB regulars who live that way, so no doubt someone else will be able to say. |
