Made myself late this a.m. a beautiful barn owl sitting on a post,Iknocked the car out of gear and coasted up to it,x20 at the ready I lowered the passenger window
pressed the go button ......
The owl just slid away across the field and away,no pic but still worth it!

Aren't they just a marvellous sight. I will have to dig out a photo I have of one that actually landed on my neighbours fence a couple of years ago at my previous abode.

I did see a few of them a few months ago whilst on the North Norfolk coast.
