A window in the weather!

Finally managed to get out yesterday after rather awful weather for the past few weeks or working when it's not been!

Some nice species including:

RT Diver
BT Diver
RB Merganser
Gannet

Spotted Redshank
Knot
Bl.T Godwit
Mediterranean Gull
GS Woodpecker
Green Woodpecker
Snipe (x6)
Woodlark (heard)
Dartford Warbler

Kingfisher
Hen Harrier
C.Buzzard
Kestrel
Barn Owl

And TODAY, quick stroll along the local beach produced a juvenile ICELAND GULL which was a welcomed patch tick!

That's a good selection to spot in one day, well done. The weather up my way is similar, dull, dreary and rain for the past few weeks. Roll on Spring

I almost forgot to add, I saw a Shrew also, my first for many years, it ran just across the footpath just a foot in front of me, I nearly trod on it and it frightened the life out of me since I was focusing on the sky at the time and looked down at the very last moment!
