I have been taking advantage of the few sunny breaks to go out into the garden and practice on anything that moves or flies over.
Here are a few.
The heron seems to fly over quite often. One dark morning, it was perched on top of the house next door - by the time I had fetched my camera, it had flown off ...... However, nothing like as bad as Lincs Yellowbelly's camera battery failing just as the kingfisher dived into his pond!

Great shots Colin - did you do the Big Garden Birdwatch this year? I imagine your garden gave a great count if you did.
