| | | Help identifying brid of prey... I saw this large bird (30cm's plus) in woods at the side of Cosmeston Lake in Cardiff which is a large wetland nature reserve surrounded by open fields. Any ideas what it might be? I thought either Sparrowhawk or Buzzard?
Many Thanks,
Bridget |

Cosmeston is lovely, I go there once a month for a look around. Have you seen the bearded tit there yet ?
Welcome to WAB by the way

I've only been to Cosmeston a couple of times, but it's really close so may start going more. I also spotted this very friendly Robin whilst there yesterday!
Best wishes,

I had a very similar pic of a robin there around 2 weeks ago. Lovely place.
