We took in 12 rock doves the other night.
Their previous owners were moving and didn't want to take them. There were 3 in the dovecote so they suffocated them in a plastic bag... and then they set fire to their Dovecote. After that, they moved!
The birds obviously still came home and sat on the roof.The new
occupants of the house decided they didn't want them either and were
going to shoot them....Nice people eh?  |

Its despicable what some people will do..
How the hell can they look after pets like that then decide they don't want them any more...
They are not objects to be thrown away when no longer needed.. |

Total Morons aren't they?
I have come across quite a few badly treated and killed birds but it still makes me savage every time.
Cute little things they are too, cooing away like good uns in the aviary!
We are trying to get hold of a Dovecote now so that we can let them free fly once they think of the place as home so they will be fine now  |

Why keep them in the first place - it takes all sorts. Why suffocate them in a plastic bag when they could virtually fend for themselves
