| | | Merlin. Possible ID mistake I recently put a photograph in the Gallery which I thought was Merlin. I was shown 3 locations within 100 yard's where the bird usually perches by 2 park rangers. I now have my doubts if it is a Merlin, I think it may be a Kestrel. Either the rangers got the ID wrong or a Kestrel landed where the Merlin normally is. I will go and see the rangers tomorrow. This is a bad photograph of the same bird in the Gallery as it took off.
