| | | Bethlehem I was in Bethlehem this week and there was some 15 to 20 kites flying above me perhaps only 20 foot at times. I wander if perhaps the cottage to which they were flying above had occupants that feed the birds.
I imagine it would make a fantastic opportunity for anyone that wanted to photograph such birds as I have never personally seen them so close up.
It was a fantastic site

I think there are a growing number of areas in the UK where you can see Red Kites in impressive numbers. They seem to be a real conservation success story.
