| | | Goldcrest Hi everyone. I have been admiring all your Goldcrest photos.
How do you manage it, this is the best I could get It was beautiful & came down to almost eye level. I think i was more interested in watching it than getting a photo

| | | Re: Goldcrest My lad and I saw a lil goldcrest yesterday on the campsite we are staying at in Somerset. It was busy foraging through the leaves on the floor not three feet away, totally oblivious of us. I took three photos with my phone, sadly all it looked like when I downloaded them was a leaf with a yellow stripe! Wonderful little things.
PS I have never seen so many lapwings! The levels are teemiung with them at the moment, gorgeous! |

| | | Re: Goldcrest I saw a Goldcrest today in a wood (spotted a Tree Creeper nearby at the same time!), and spent a few minutes trying to photograph it. It was just feet away, and didn't seem bothered by my presence, but it was constantly moving about the low shrubs and I failed to get a decent shot of it. Charming little bird though! |

I've not seen one yet this year but haven't even attempted to take a pic so well done with your effort! |

| | | Re: Goldcrest Visited last two days regularly by a goldcrest on pots outside patio doors (first sighting in 7 years i've lived here - south-east London borough). Congrats to all who have managed photo as this one doesn't keep still for a second! In fact when i first saw it out of corner of eye, thought it was one of our resident wood mice! | | | | | Thread Tools | | | | Display Modes | Linear Mode |
