Having returned from Southwold to see a Pec Sand I stopped off at Benacre Broad. The water was low but there were still plenty of waders. Five Little Egrets, Two Green Sandpipers, One Common Sandpiper, One Ruff, 387 Barnacle Geese & an escaped Bar-headed Goose, Several Dunlin, Knot & sanderling, 287 Sanwich Terns, about the same no of Little Terns & c50 Common Terns, One Hobby overhead & afew Stock Doves. The County Rare Roesels Bush -crickets were seen below the hide there. All in all a good afternoon.
