| | | Its just got dark and a chorus of singing from the trees and bushes. Ive not got a lot of experience with birds at the min and which songs belong to which birds, all i recognise so far is the starling chatter and the chuckle chuckle of blackbirds running across the garden.
Its just got dark and i can hear none stop singing coming from the trees and bushes, is this normal for this time of day and year as ive not heard the birds break out into such chorus so late in the day before. Sounds great tho |

Mine's been very happy today.
Here we go. Steve, you can click and hear a typical Robin song, although in my experience the song is variable: http://www.rspb.org.uk/wildlife/bird...obin/index.asp
This is a recording I made: http://www.supload.com/sound_confirm...=979046373.wma

Several Robins and Blackbirds and, most surprisingly, a Song Thrush. The Blackbirds were swearing as I got back home......one of the local cats was on the prowl.....! |

Also we've got Primroses in bloom in the garden.

The classic is the Pheasants in a wood, we used to call it cocking up when working in woods. |

It sounds high pitched in the main and goes into a flute like sound and the song goes on for quite a bit. The birds that visit our garden that i have noticed are blackbirds, a song thrush, robins, blue tits, sparrows, magpie and a few ravens or crows, can`t tell which as its one or the other and we have a collared dove that is a regular visitor, ive ruled out the collared dove

Not sure how to describe a Song Thrush: http://www.rspb.org.uk/wildlife/bird...rush/index.asp
I think you can rule out the others
