Shelduck or xbreed

Hello

I was at Rother Valley Country Park last week and saw this duck. I believe it is a Shelduck and know these have been seen at the park before. It was with the mallards and mallard x breeds near the visitors car park and seemed quite unafraid of humans. I was concerned that the bulge on the bill was quite small but have read this is normally prominent in spring. Any confirmation of ID much appreciated.

Yes a shelduck, females and males out of breeding season lack the basal knob.
