I took a wander around my garden today taking a few pics of the birds. Mostly the Bluetits, Great tits, Long tailed tits, Robins and the like. I also got a few shots of the Starlings that eat me out of house and home, (the fat balls are gone in a day). When the sun is on them they have such lovely colours.

 I get regular visits from starlings also - love them, especially the young fledglings earlier in the year - really entertaining. Terrific pic!! |

Certainly are pretty birds.
Rome has one or two hanging about at the moment.... BBC NEWS | World | Europe | Rome fights record starling flock

They flock on the top of my building, then do their acrobatic flight before roost, I love starlings.

Beautiful photo. We have a lone Starling hanging around at the moment and making the most out of the fat balls. It's quite comical to watch as it can be a bit clumsy at times.
