Well what a surprise visitor to my feeding station this morning 
A Female Greenfinch feasting on BLACK SUNFLOWER SEEDS
I havn't seen a Greenfinch in my garden for 18 MONTHS!! and that was a MALE who didn't hang around very long.
I hope she comes back tomorrow when i'm not in me NIGHTIE and have my
NIKON to hand    |

I had 2 greenfinch going to feed on my front garden feeder inthe breeding season, since the young have flown not had a single bird on my feeder in my front garden and the seed is now growing must clear it out. I get lots of birds in my Back Garden its a sparrow haven though.

H,mm second attempt to reply here, must have done something wrong !
I was lucky to have the camera to hand when this flight of greenfinches arrived, last April. They do not nest here in Shetland, so must have been on migration to their nesting grounds.
