| | | New feeding station Hi folks
just thought I would share this..bought a new feeding station and started adding to it. I am hoping Ive created an extra habitat at the bottom as you can see (my neighbour gave us these for the wood burner originally), not sure if the moss transplants onto the logs at the bottom will work in this cold weather
Any suggestions as to what else I could plant into gaps... or in fact any suggestions at all are welcome
I'm rained off at the moment..... off to buy some peanuts that I forgot I had run out of

It's a great set up.
It looks like a damp, shaded spot - there is other moss growing there, I think. Have you thought about ferns? "Mind your own business" provides cover for various species including frogs, I've found (only plant if you are prepared to allow it to spread - it can be quite rampant).

and for the suggestions , I've not heard of mind your own business so will look it up. It is quite a damp area, especially in autumn, winter as it tends to hold alot of moisture in that area, in summer it gets partial sun later in the afternoon... may look for a small variety of fern too
