Very good list in just 40mins, that - particularly the treecreeper and wagtail. I've never seen a WT in a wood before; I take it it was pied?
Did you take a camera?? |

I'm guessing the wagtail wasn't actually in the wood but around the hotel in car park or surrounding lawns. |

| | | Re: Birds I Saw I saw a pair of Grey Wagtails in a tree recently. I don't know how long they were there though. I couldn't linger too long - a couple of policemen were right behind me and me and my shopping trolley were in their way, and I'm sure I was looking dodgy. But I'm sure they were Grey Wagtails.

It was a pied Wagtail. I forgot to mention a Blue tit was seen aswell. My friend who I was with was Excited as she had never seen a Woodpecker before so that was a first for her.

Did you take a camera?? | Didnt take the camera with me as it was all about having a swim in the spa and steam rooms plus the Heat and Ice pool.
But the birds would have been a bit to far away for photos plus it would have been through glass.
