Over the last week or so, I have had a small flock of Redwings in the garden. Along with the Blackbirds and Wood pigeons they have almost cleared all of the Hawthorn berries from the trees.
We had a bit of sunshine this morning so I thought I would have another try at getting a few pictures of them, they seem to be a fairly nervous bird but I did manage a few shots.  |

That is a fantastic shot, snake  I haven't seen these for a few years now. They really are gorgeous birds, aren't they!

nay I haven't seen one either - let alone photoed one or had it in the garden? do you live in the countryside snake? |

Cracking image of a bird I have yet to see in my garden.
Send some of them down to me please. I could do with getting an image of one as good as that.

I saw a few the other day in the hedges behind my garden, they're full of ivy and holly so they feed off the berries. The holly tree over-hanging my garden is now totally bereft of all its ' berries - wonder if it's going to be a hard winter 
Not seen any fieldfares at all yet  |

We have a nice little flock (along with Fieldfare) in the hedges and trees near to us. Plenty of berries! | | | |
