Had my one and only Goldfinch on 29th Oct never had anymore since and that was on my sunflower hearts seeds.

Sorry to hijack the thread but i totally forgot how to post a new one.
What food is right to feed wild ducks.
I have about 7 risen to 12 recently come to the canal at the bottom of my garden they quack till i feed them.
I hear bread is bad so can anyone recommend food that DOESNT sink and is healthy?
