| | | Argumentative Goldie's I waste hours' Watching Goldfinches feeding and arguing
For ages, i have had two niger feeders in my garden
They are just cheepy 4 port feeders, but they were sufficient
Lately we have had numbers of up to sixteen turn up at once to feed
They argue and fight each other to get to the feeder
So i thought, Time to purchase a good quality eight port feeder to give them more opportunity
Bought one. Filled it. Hung it with the others.
Day one, No Goldie's showed up. Expected that, being a new feeder.
Day two. Six turn up, and argued and fought as to where they were going to sit and feed
I watched in amusement, thinking, " Crikey, sixteen ports, Six birds, and your still not happy".
Today sixteen turn up. Chuffed. all ports occupied. But still the arguing and fighting each other continues.
Yep. I waste hours watching them. They are so entertaining |

Like yourself, it's always dark, when i go to work and dark when i get home.
But this week ( self employed ) my job has only been around the corner, so i have been popping back home for coffee.
Usually i only get to see them on weekends |
