| | | Gull ID Please? First, apologies for the image quality - they were hastily taken at Hurst Spit in Hampshire at the weekend. Didn't have time to change lens or set up the monopod, they're just 'grab' shots with the Bigma, as I'd never seen these before (and I was battling against a stiff onshore breeze  ).
I'm sure they're both juvenile gulls of some type, and may be two different shots of the same gull, but I'd appreciate an ID if possible:
It was/they were quite large - approaching Herring Gull size if that helps.

But i'd say 1st winter bird a 2nd would start to show some grey on the back.
