| | | Re: Weekend bonus Nice photo gess, much better than I've ever managed of this very colourful bird. I see Jays quite frequently in the countryside, but they seem very wary and always fly off before I can get a decent photo.
For the last couple of days there's been one visiting the back garden and feeding on the peanuts we put out (like the magpies and jackdaws, it's learnt that it can reach one peanut feeder from an adjacent branch). But I've only managed some very poor quality shots of it so far, at a distance and from behind double-glazing. I'm hoping it will turn up when I'm out photographing the birds from the summerhouse. |
