No Honey on this visit

Having spent the last fortnight painting my window frames I decided I needed a treat. So I decided to travel to Wykeham Forest Raptor Watch point to see Honey Buzzard. I waited 4 hours 30 mins and did they have the good manners to show up, NO. However, I was compensated by the site of a Goshawk flying at low level straight through the Raptor Watchpoint right in front of me. The Hawk was followed by 4 crows who were going berserk and they all flew into the forest. The crows remained agitated for a further 10 mins and I went home happy. Gareth

That's so typical. It's best to go not expecting anything, that way you'll never be disappointed!

May be worth a visit in 2 / 3 weeks as they could be a bit more active then.
