| | | Re: First Goldfinch wow Great news, we started with just one Goldfinch about a year ago. We get anywhere up to 20 at a time now. They come everyday several times a day, the niger seed and sunflower heart feeders need filling a couple of times a day.

| | | Re: First Goldfinch wow Had my feeders up about 2 years now and get loads off sparrows all year round but first time for the Goldfinch. The Sparrows seemed to chase him of but he did seem to get a few Sunflower seeds down him.

| | | Re: First Goldfinch wow Great news for you, I get up to fourteen year round. They are quite gregarious birds so if you have enough food out more should come in too! |

| | | Re: First Goldfinch wow Really pleased for you Buddy Bear
It feels like it was -3 most of the day and it still does and my Goldfinches have returned
Maybe they like the snow as it shows of their colourful plumage?! | | | | | Thread Tools | | | | Display Modes | Linear Mode |
