| | | A few garden birds Hi all,
Well I'm sidelined again with a recurring back problem and unable to get out. haven't been out with the camera since last Tuesday and I'm going stir crazy
Anyway to ease the boredom I took a few shots of the garden birds today. cheered me up a bit and gave me something to do between putting ice packs on the back.
First a couple of Goldfinches.
An adult
Think this is one of this years youngsters that hasn't quite got it's full adult plumage.
A Dunnock.
This little boy/girl spends a lot of time in the garden and is quite tame as Dunnocks go. Certainly not camera shy. He/she was actually listening to the shutter clicking on the 40D while I was taking these.
Another one of the Dunnock pretendig to be shy.
A female House Sparrow about to say something.
Finally a Robin in a very nice pose, pity about the background though.
Enjoy

Love the pics...lovely dunnock..I wish I could get a half decent pic of a sparrow in my garden the poor thing has lost its foot it keeps pecking at the stump..Looks like there is infection there as the end of the leg is a lump and its red..The bird looks healthy and is feeding well though. Its been like this about two weeks.. | | | | | Thread Tools | | | | Display Modes | Linear Mode |
