| | | Re: Your Favourite Owl... I know it's not strictly a Brit species, but the Little Owl does it for me as they're bold and happy to let you see them during the day.

| | | Re: Your Favourite Owl... I love all owls, however, the sound of the tawny male and female in the woodland as you drop off to sleep is fantastic

| | | Re: Your Favourite Owl... Mine would have to be the Eagle Owl that i was introduced to over at Aldenham park on a "Day out with Raptors.."
this bird was 17yrs old and had been hand reared from a chick...She was so tame and friendly ...being able to get so close was an experience i wont forget in a hurry..

| | | Re: Your Favourite Owl... Eagle Owl for me. I've held one a couple of times and they're one impressive Bird. We also had one living wild in the area last year for a while and in the evening it would sit on a branch soaking up all the attention from people passing by.

| | | Re: Your Favourite Owl... Bit difficult for me as I have quite a few and the individual personalities sway me but overall, it has to be the Eurasian Eagle Owl for me. | | | | | Thread Tools | | | | Display Modes | Linear Mode |
