Protecting birds in the garden

Hello,
A few weeks ago a nuthatch flew into a window of my porch and died. I was and still am pretty upset about it. I have since bought some bird transfers and put them onto large windows to hopefuly prevent this happening again.
The transfers werent expensive. I hope that by posting this message it will prompt members to do the same. Especially where bird feeders are situated close to the house.
