Great characters. Someone I knew had a couple that used to come into their back garden, and they used to do an odd syncronised sideways dance together!

| | | Re: duck ID help please. just watch out for cross-breeding with other ducks, especially Mallard - they throw up all sorts of plumage and bill variations - the results can be very confusing and not in bird guides!

It would certainly be useful to beginners to include this frequently encountered duck. |
