| | | Coffee! Just finished my coffee after a break in from woodwork and went into the kitchen to wash up, and on the path and the garden out side the window was a mixed flock of House Sparrows and Coal Tits.
Can't say that I've seen them together like this before.
I'll never get this coat rack finished!!

| | | Re: Coffee! Just been reading on another forum that they think we,ve had a fall of Coal Tits but because they're "just Coal Tits" its being overlooked. So if we all keep a eye out for any extra in our gardens we should be able to tell? |

| | | Re: Coffee! I counted five this morning Morph, but we normally have a quite a few around as we have conifer wind breaks.
I'll hazard a guess that these were all from one brood as they seemed to have immaculate plumage.
In reference to another post about poor illustrations, I've got a rather tatty Reader's Digest bird book and the illustration of the Coal Tit looks nothing like the ones I see!
