i was just you tubeing and found this YouTube - ALBINO STARLING

Interesting, epops. The bird looked very handsome, although the video quality wasn't that good. I wonder if there are any albino starlings in Britain.

I suspect they don't last very long as they will easily be picked off by Sparrowhawks, Peregrines, Merlins, etc.

When I was ploughing this year there were flocks of starlings following the plough, numbering thousands.
There was a pure white one amongst these birds also a few that had just white wings. As Aeshna5 says they don't seem to last that long, they stand out and are the first to go.
I also found a pure white magpie which had drowned itself in a water trough.
