That's a beautiful photograph.
I had over a dozen of these today in the garden and blimey, they don't half make a racket when they get going. Absolutely smashing little birds, I love 'em.  |

Awww so cute - they remind me of flying lollipops.
Cheeky as well - mine were all lined up on the fench waiting for me to finish putting up a new bird table. Weren't at all put off by the noise I was making hammering it into the ground.
Great shot .. made me smile just looking at it. |

Oh I adore these Birds and we've only had them in the garden once that I know of. Lovely photograph.

There's a flock of them in residence around here. They do the rounds of the area and turn up in my garden three or four times a day at the moment. They're grand to see. |

lovely close up stan,
ive got about another week following the fallow rut then back to some bird photography,keyhaven will be top of the list (its only 10mins away )
the jungle drums round hear say theres been a red backed shrike down there recently? did you see or hear anything?
